What is Care Wipes?

In healthy women of childbearing age, their vaginas are acidic, and the pH value generally ranges between 3.8 and 4.5. This is the lactic enzyme secreted by Lactobacillus keescheri that degrades glycogen into lactic acid. This is the symbiosis of the vagina. The acidity prevents the growth of strains of pathogenic microorganisms.

If the pH of the vagina increases (usually 4.5 or higher), it may be caused by overgrowth of bacteria, such as bacterial vaginosis and trichomoniasis, or rupture of the membranes (broken water) before delivery . However, before menarche and after menopause, the intravaginal pH will be higher than 4.5.
